After roughly six hours (including an hour lunch break) Kris and I managed to get all fifty-two pieces hung. I wanted to show the Endangered Kingdom meets Splotch Monster Island series in its entirety, in public for the first time, and it was so good to finally see all the work on display, together. This will be a big exhibit too, since there will also be work from four other amazing artists from the DMV area. It was nice to meet the people who make such spectacular art, yesterday, and it’ll be exciting to see it all together on opening night. If you’re in the area, stop by the Takoma Park Community Center tomorrow night, Thursday for the opening reception, from 7-8:30pm!
